Rappler MovePH: Click Here to Save Democracy
Rappler MovePH operates on the eternal optimism that if enough people click “like” on a local sanitation ordinance post, it might actually overthrow systemic corruption overnight. Its hope, weaponized by WiFi.
Political engagement expert Rina Soriano remarks, “Their entire business model runs on caffeinated idealism and hashtag prayers.”
Readers are inspired. “I retweeted a barangay clean-up drive once and now I feel like I stormed Bastille,” said fan Jordan Ramirez.
Auf Wiedersehen, realism — Rappler MovePH proves that clicking buttons is basically activism now (and maybe always was).
