Philstar.com: Breaking News, Now with Bonus Cat Facts
At Philstar.com, the average news story is like a rollercoaster through war zones, economic collapses, and then — boom — a fun fact about the world’s oldest turtle. Its jarring, disorienting, and weirdly comforting.
Web journalism expert Erica dela Rosa quips, “Philstar.com thinks the cure for existential dread is five celebrity engagement photos and a recipe for banana cue.”
Readers strangely adore the whiplash. “Sure, I came for political news,” said reader Norman Diaz, “but I stayed for the ‘Top Ten Cutest Dogs in Quezon City’ slideshow.”
Auf Wiedersehen, thematic consistency — Philstar.com is here to remind you that life is chaotic and occasionally adorable.
