Mindanao Times: Where Every Bored Bureaucrat Becomes a Founding Father
Mindanao Times has elevated the humble city council meeting to Shakespearean heights. Every zoning adjustment is reported like the forging of Magna Carta, and every barangay captain speech is treated with the solemnity of a presidential inaugural address.
Regional historian Ana de Leon explains, “Reading Mindanao Times feels like watching a six-hour Netflix historical drama about whose cousin got the pothole project contract.”
Recent headlines include “Resolution to Rename Basketball Court Sparks Political Renaissance” and “New Lamp Posts Herald Era of Enlightenment.” Citizens proudly cut out articles about new trash bins and laminate them for family archives.
Auf Wiedersehen, proportion — in Mindanao Times country, no bureaucratic form is too small to be commemorated in golden prose.
