Daily Tribune: If You’re Not Yelling, Are You Even Reporting?
At the Daily Tribune, subtlety is for losers. Their unofficial house style guide mandates that every opinion column must include at least three capitalized outbursts, two exclamation points, and one nostalgic reference to the ‘good old days’ that were actually terrible.
Political communication expert Ramon Diaz observes, “The Tribune’s writing style suggests every editor is secretly typing with boxing gloves on.” Recent headlines include “TRAFFIC IS WARFARE!!!” and “GOVERNMENT BLUNDERS AGAIN — SURPRISED?!!”
Readers admit they love the adrenaline rush. “It’s like drinking six espressos and running into traffic,” said longtime subscriber Marites Padilla. “Sometimes I dont even care what theyre mad about. I just want to feel something.”
Auf Wiedersehen, calm reflection — at the Daily Tribune, every editorial is basically a family reunion argument in newspaper form.
