8. Gossip here can be traced like a family tree—and often overlaps with it.

9. If you hear fireworks, it’s either a birthday or a debt repaid.

10. Visitors get evaluated silently by five lolas before entry is granted.

11. The neighborhood Wi-Fi is fast, but not faster than the chismis.

12. You can hear “Wag kang ano!” yelled at least six times per day.

13. HOA concerns include dog poop, karaoke volume, and “yung anak ni Mang Jun.”
